Why this exists

Most owners don't want a hosting login. They don't want to know about SSL renewal dates, plugin compatibility queues, or the difference between a CDN and a DNS record. They want their website to keep working, to load fast, to not get hacked, and to update when something on the inside changes.

The Care Plan trades that whole pile of cognitive load for a flat monthly fee. We handle the moving parts. You email us when something needs to change. That's it.

    Off-site, encrypted, retained for 30 days. We've never needed to use one — but we'd rather have them.

    Text changes, photo swaps, new staff bios, new prices, fixed links, small new sections. Email and we ship it.

    No tickets, no portals, no phone trees. You email a person. They reply. They are also the person who built your site.

We'd rather be
honest about it.

The Care Plan is for upkeep, not for new builds. A few things sit outside it:

  • Full redesigns. A new visual direction, a new structure — we'll quote that as a fresh project.
  • New large sections. A full new service area with five sub-pages, a 20-page resource library, a complete navigation overhaul.
  • Custom feature builds. Booking systems, member portals, integrations. We build these — they're just out of plan scope.

If something's borderline, we'll just tell you. Most months it's clearly inside; rarely it's clearly outside; in between we use judgment, not a stopwatch.

What people
always ask.

What counts as a small edit?

Text changes, photo swaps, hour or pricing updates, adding a new staff member, swapping out a quote, fixing a broken link, adding a small new section to an existing page. Most months our clients send between zero and three of these. The plan is generous, but it isn't a free redesign hidden behind a monthly fee.

Can I add a new page?

Yes — small pages within the existing design (a new staff bio, a single-service landing page, an event page) are included. Larger new sections — a full new service area, a 20-page resource library, a redesigned navigation — we'll quote separately, and we'll be reasonable about it.

What's your typical turnaround?

One business day to reply. Most edits ship within 48 hours. Urgent ones (a wrong phone number, a broken page) we treat as same-day. We tell you when something will take longer.

Do you guarantee uptime?

Our hosting target is 99.9% uptime, which is a few hours of unplanned downtime a year. We don't sell SLAs with credits attached — if a host has a bad day, the credits aren't worth the spreadsheet. We just pick hosting that doesn't have bad days often.

What happens if I cancel?

You take the site with you. We'll hand off your domain, your content, and an export of the codebase. We won't hold a site hostage over a missed monthly payment.

Is there a contract?

Month-to-month. Annual gets you two months free. No multi-year lock-ins.
