Honest answers,
up front.

Working together

Process, timing, and what we need from you.

How long does a website take to build?

Most projects launch in three to five weeks. Timing depends on scope and how quickly content and feedback come back from you.

What does the process look like start to finish?

Three phases: Listen (a 30-minute call), Build (message first, then design and development with weekly checkpoints), and Care (launch, training, and an optional Care Plan).

What do you need from me to get started?

Whatever you have. Existing site, brand assets, photos, copy fragments — even rough notes. We'll tell you what's missing and shape the rest with you.

What if I'm not sure what I need?

Book the 30-minute consult anyway. Half the people we talk with arrive uncertain. We'll either help you scope it, or tell you you're not ready yet — both are useful answers.

Content & copy

Who writes what, and what we expect you to bring.

Do I need to write the copy myself?

No. You bring raw ideas, existing materials, and the heart of what you do — we shape it into clear, friendly copy that sounds like you. If you'd rather write it yourself, we'll guide you with prompts and edits.

Do I need professional photos?

Real photos matter more than professional photos. A clear iPhone shot of you and your team beats stock imagery. If you do want a shoot, we'll help you scope a local photographer for a couple of hours.

What if my old site has content I want to keep?

We migrate it. Pages, blog posts, gallery items, redirects — handled cleanly so you don't lose search rankings or links anyone has saved.

Pricing & payment

Why our prices look the way they do.

Why does it start at $2,400?

Because that's the smallest scope where we can do work we'd send to a friend. Anything cheaper would be a template flip with stock copy, and we don't make those.

What's the difference between Base and Standard?

Base ($2,400) is up to five pages — a focused, credible launch. Standard ($3,600) is up to ten pages with service templates, a lead form, and basic SEO — for organizations with more story to tell.

How does payment work?

Half at kickoff, half at launch. We send a clear written quote before any work begins. Custom scopes get itemized so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

Do you offer payment plans?

For nonprofits, churches, and ministries, yes — we'll work with you on a schedule that fits the budget cycle. Just ask in the first call.

After launch

What ongoing support actually means.

What's covered in the Care Plan?

Hosting, security, software updates, daily backups, SSL, and small monthly edits — text changes, photo swaps, new staff, new prices. Plus direct human support, no ticketing.

What if I need a new page later?

Small additions are part of the Care Plan. Larger features or substantial new sections get a separate written quote so you always know what you're paying for.

Can I cancel the Care Plan?

Yes. Anytime, no contracts. We'll help migrate you to your own hosting or another provider and hand off everything — including the design files and the codebase.

What happens if my site goes down?

We watch uptime and we get pinged before you do. Most issues are resolved in under an hour. If a downtime ever materially affects your business, we credit the month — without you asking.

Hosting & technical

Where the site lives and who owns what.

Where is my site hosted?

On managed, modern infrastructure built for speed and reliability. We use a global CDN so your pages load fast regardless of where your visitors are.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain, the codebase, the design, the content — all yours. If we ever part ways we hand it all over, no charge.

What platform do you build on?

A modern, mobile-first stack with a friendly content editor. You can update text, swap photos, and add pages without writing code. We'll demo it before kickoff so you know exactly what you're getting.

Fit

Who we work with, and who we don't.

What industries do you work with?

We have specialty pages for eleven industries — dental, medical, legal, accounting, construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, storage, high-value persons, and small businesses generally. If yours isn't listed, ask — we probably know more than you'd expect.

What size business is this for?

Owner-operated to roughly 30 employees, plus mid-sized churches and ministries. Above that we're usually not the best fit, and we'll tell you so.

Who shouldn't hire you?

Enterprises with in-house creative teams, anyone who needs a marketing firm running paid ads, and anyone shopping purely on price. We'd rather lose those projects than disappoint.

Google Business & local

What we promise — and what we won't.

What does Google Business Profile setup actually involve?

Profile creation or recovery, verification, categories and services, photos, hours, business description, posting cadence guidance, and review-response coaching. We don't take over your Google account — we work with your existing access.

Will my Google Business profile get suspended?

Not from anything we do. We follow Google's guidelines closely. If your profile gets suspended for unrelated reasons, we'll work with you to recover it.

Do you guarantee Google rankings?

No. Anyone who guarantees rankings is either lying or about to get penalized. We do everything that legitimately moves the needle — solid foundations, real content, clean local signals — and the rankings follow.
